About this place

Added by Outbound

The Treasure Lakes Trail is a 6 mile hike in the Eastern Sierras, in Inyo National Forest. This trail is used for backpacking, day hiking, fishing and chillin.

The Treasure Lakes Trail is dog and kid friendly, just make sure all parties can handle the elevation gain. The scenery throughout the entire hike is amazing, and early in the summer, the creeks roar. The lake is perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day. The trail is best used in the summer and early fall, due to the high levels of snow at elevation in the Sierras. The Treasure Lakes Trail splits from the Bishop Pass Trail not far from the parking lot and trailhead near the Lake Mary dam.

Be sure to bring bug spray.

Awesome
Hike starts at south lake. Very easy. Not for elderly people because of the need to balance over logs. Incredible views and amazing scenery. ...
