About this place

Added by Outbound

Baker Campground is a beautiful and popular campground nestled on the Stanislaus River, with access to Kennedy Meadows and the Emigrant Wilderness trail system.

Baker Campground is a first come, first serve campground. Each site is equipped with a fire ring, picnic table, and bear boxes. The cost for a single family site is $20 per night and a double family site is $40 per night. The campground provides bathrooms and potable water. The campground is typically open from May - October. If you wish to use a grill, stove, or make a campfire, it is recommended to obtain a free campfire permit from a ranger station or from this site. Pets are allowed but must be kept on leash. There are no RV hookups at this campground.

The campground is close to a variety of trailheads and is located north of Yosemite National Park in Stanislaus National Forest.
