Stand Up Paddle Lewis Lake to Shoshone Lake

It is something fantastic if you know how to use a standup paddle board. Being able to paddle from one lake to another where no roads can reach via a small channel with natural geysers going off and trout rising to morning and afternoon flies.

The water being, in some parts, very warm because of the geysers while coupled with being crystal clear makes the paddle even more enjoyable than the final destination. However, once getting to Shoshone Lake, you can take stock in realizing what real Mother Nature looks and feels like. It is so quiet, you can hear the trees in the wind, while watching plumes of steam rise from some parts of the lake from the geysers.

Please remember to bring appropriate safety equipment (PFD) and let someone know where you'll be before heading out on this adventure.
