Get out there without even leaving town! Groomed for skate skiing and classic skiing, these trails are great for beginners or just anyone trying to get some time outdoors or training laps in.
These trails are located right in the town of Ashland, WI. They are off from Maple Lane right in the parking lot for the hospital.
They are the perfect option for people new to skiing and people who would like to get outside or train by taking a quick lap!
All together the trails are a total of 6.3 kilometers. The trail is also quite flat (just another reason it is great for beginners). There are a variety of options to make your loop shorter or longer, so you can chose your own adventure. They also will connect you to the golf course trails if you are looking for a longer ski.
Get out and enjoy the Northern WI winters, the best part is the warm cup of coffee and baked goods (or beer) that are so close by afterwards because you are right in town!
