A miniature Columbia River Gorge right in the heart of Camas. Check this park out for huge rocky cliffs, impressive waterfalls, and a scenic lake perfect for picnicking - or running.
This trail is a great option for people who want to escape the city, without actually leaving. Lacamas Park is located right downtown Camas, Washington and offers over six miles of dirt trails popular for cyclists, pedestrians, and runners.
Park off of 3rd avenue at the Lacamas Creek Trailhead to begin this run. The first 0.7 miles is an easy up-and-down before you hit the McEnry Bridge. Turn right and follow the trail up a few hundred feet until you hit the Access Road, where you'll turn right again towards the Round Lake Loop Trail. Complete a full circumnavigation of the lake along the trail, crossing the Round Lake Dam, and return along Lacamas Park Trails until you reach Lacamas Creek Trail and then the parking lot.
