Teneriffe Falls (Kamikaze Falls)

The lesser known Mt Si Rd trail starts off as a relatively flat road. This continues for two miles until you reach the Teneriffe Falls sign. Upon turning right at this junction, the terrain takes a shift and the incline steepens. This is where most of the elevation is gained.

The rest of the way is a series of rocky switchbacks. Be wary of the loose rocks, but don't forget to soak in the beauty of this lush forest. Occasionally you'll be able to catch scenic views from above the trees and the seemingly endless greenery.

Exploring the falls is a must, but take care where you step; the surrounding areas are rocky, somewhat steep and slippery. Here is a great photo op, especially using your friends to compare to the massive height of Teneriffe Falls. Spring and Summer are prime times for this hike, as the glacial melt will improve the waterfall's size.

Take note that the parking area is very small and on peak days can become crowded. The Discover pass is also required.
