About this place

Added by Outbound

From Golden Gardens Park, enjoy beautiful views of the Olympics and Puget Sound. There is a nice sandy beach, perfect for lounging. Beach bonfires in Seattle? Yes, please.

Golden Gardens Park is a beautiful, sandy gem that’s perfect for spending a sunny summer day lounging on the beach, exploring the shore, stand up paddling, or even playing beach volleyball. This park also features some of my favorite views in Seattle. As day turns to night, enjoy a beautiful sunset with friends and prepare to get that bonfire going!

This is a popular summer spot, and the 12 fire pits are first-come, first-served, so your best bet is getting there early in the day and posting up. Parking can also be a bit of a challenge on nice days.

Please help do your part in keeping this park clean.

There is a dog off-leash area of the park. Head to Seattle.Gov/Parks for a map of this area.
