Voted one of America's best public gardens, these 50+ acre gardens provide many opportunities for photography and walking in all seasons.
Lewis Ginter has over 2 miles of pathways to follow through more than a dozen themed gardens including a Children's Garden, Rose Garden, Asian Garden and a conservatory. Admission for adults is currently $13.
Throughout the year there are various events. In April-June are the "Million Blooms" which includes daffodils, tulips, roses, and more. From mid-April to mid-October there is a butterfly exhibit housed in the Conservatory. In December to early January the garden opens up at night with a beautiful Christmas light display.
Once finished exploring the 2 miles of paths around the gardens, there are two places to eat at the gardens: the Robins Tea House and the Garden Cafe. The gardens are open from 9am to 5pm every day.
