Lake views with plenty of nature on this loop trail
Great hike right in the city of Newport News. It is a loop trail that is 4.8 miles and has a moderate level of traffic.

- Water and wooded views with lots of shade throughout
- Clearly marked trail
- No bikes
- Parking at Mariners Museum and at Lions Bridge; I parked at Mariners Museum and that’s where these directions send you

Relaxing run
The community is pretty quite, sometimes you’ll see families walking around. It’s an enjoyable run through the loop.
