Photograph one of Vermont's most popular and well known waterfalls. Easily accessible and located along the roadside of scenic Route 100.
While enjoying some of Vermont's most beautiful fall foliage along Route 100, be sure to stop and photograph Moss Glen Falls. Located approximately 3 miles outside of Granville, Vermont, Moss Glen can be found right along the roadside, making these falls easily accessible. There is a large parking area near the falls where you can pull off and park. Cross over a small bridge (visible from the parking area) then follow the walkway that will lead to a wooden viewing deck; here you will find great vantage points to photograph the falls. The trail to the viewing deck is very short (.1 mile) and very easy.
If visiting in the spring, and water levels are good, you may also be able to view Little Moss Glen Falls, a smaller horsetail waterfall that can be seen near the foot bridge.
There is also a waterfall named Moss Glen Falls in Stowe; be sure not to get the two mixed up. For an added adventure, you could always check them both out!
