Burch Hollow Trail is an awesome Mill Creek Canyon hike to the ridge line between Grandeur Peak and Mt Aire. Beautiful wildflowers in the spring and amazing autumn colors in the fall.
The Burch Hollow trailhead is about a quarter mile up the Pipeline trail in Millcreek Canyon. After hiking along the switchbacks of the Pipeline trail, you'll see a sharp turn in the trail that leads you up the side of the mountain. This turn can easily be missed so keep a good look out for it. Continue along this relatively steep trail up the Burch Hollow drainage to the mountain ridge line. The maximum elevation is about 8,208 ft.
Don't forget to bring some money with you, Mill Creek Canyon charges a $3.00 fee on your way out of the canyon.
