About this place

Added by Chandler Schoonmaker

Enjoy spectacular views of Logan Canyon on this 3.7-mile hike. It can be crowded on a weekend, so best to get there early. No fee to park.

As you drive up Logan Canyon, you'll see the trailhead on the left side of the road, just after Guinavah-Malibu Campground. It's a fairly steep hike, but also very well maintained.

The Wind Caves are probably the most popular hike in Northern Utah and for a good reason. As you can see in the pictures, you can look out to Logan Canyon from the cave with a great view. If you look across the canyon, you'll be able to see the China Wall, a mile-long wall of limestone that is way cool and you can also hike parts of that.

Some very spectacular views can be seen from the caves, and if you go at night, you will see amazing views of the Milky Way. Hiking the Wind Caves at night can be dangerous if you're not prepared so be sure to bring headlamps and flashlights if this is the route you go. With lighting, the path will be super visible!
