About this place

Added by Tyler Drake

Get a great workout hiking or running up to Little Mountain. The trailhead is located roughly 20 miles outside of  both Salt Lake City and Park City, making this a great after work workout.

Just off of Highway 80, head up Emigration Canyon Road to the trailhead. There is a large parking area on the opposite side of the road from the trailhead. The parking area comes equipped with a bathroom if you need one.

To get started, cross the road and start heading uphill. Keep in mind that the trail is exposed for the majority of the route, so if it's a warm day, remember to a hat, sunglasses, and water. The trail is well-marked up to the top.

On your route up, you'll enjoy great views of Little Del Reservoir and be able to see down the canyon to Salt Lake.

No dogs on the trail unfortunately.

Definitely not an easy run on a hot day but totally doable and would be a pretty mellow hike if you took it easy. ...
