This is a beautiful campsite in the heart of Canyonlands National Park, right next to the Needles District.
Squaw Flat campground is an easily-accessed area full of picturesque campsites in Canyonlands National Park, Utah. It is located in the Needles District, which is well known for its colorful spires of Cedar Mesa Sandstone that cover the region. Campsite reservations must be made in advance at recreation.gov. This is a great area for large groups because the campsites can be specious and there is a huge variety of activities for people to take part in depending on their interests and skill level, such as hiking, strolling, biking, or driving through the park. Make sure to climb on top of the rock formations to catch a beautiful desert sunrise or sunset, and sleep outside your tent for some amazing stargazing!
