Gandy Warm Springs

Near the border of Utah and Nevada stands Spring Mountain which harbors a warm spring, underwater cave system, and crystal ball cave. The warm springs has two separate pools both around 80 degrees. The main pool has water cascading down the hillside into the pool as well as a underwater cave system. The cave isn't very large and requires you to dip below the water to get into the larger chamber in the back. The upper pool is much smaller with a fire pit built into the side. 

An established campsite is located 1/2 mile down stream of the warm springs. The crystal clear stream next to camp has been dammed up to create a 100ft long swimming hole roughly the same temperature as the springs. 

Getting To Camp

Turn north onto Gandy Rd. off HWY 50 which happens to be deemed the loneliest road in America. Follow the gravel road 27 miles until you come to a small green sign that reads GANDY. Once you see the sign go ahead and take a left and go 1 mile, then another left. You'll hopefully see a mobile home on the right, if you do then take the next right. This road will lead you into camp after about a 1/2 mile.

Camp to Warm Springs

On foot you can cross the small bridge that leads over the stream next to camp. Follow the road west and after a 1/2 mile you'll have reached the warm springs. The upper spring is located to the NW of the main pool about 75 yards up the side the mountain. By car you can follow the road back up to the gravel road and turn right heading west. Take the first right and it will lead you the springs.
