About this place

Added by Erin Newman-Mitchell

A great trail through the Austin Hill Country with spectacular scenic views.

The Valburn South Loop is a 2.3 mile loop trail within the Bull Creek Greenbelt in Northwest Austin, Texas. The trail is known for its grand views of the surrounding Hill Country. The trail is shaded for the most part and is pretty rocky, good shoes are highly recommended. The trail is made up of an interconnected trail system and its easy to get turned around in, make sure to bring your phone/GPS if you're unfamiliar with this area.

This trail is family- and dog-friendly, just be sure to pick up after them and keep them leashed! Due to the rocky nature of the trail, it is not easily accessible to those that are handicap.
