Hike the Hillview Nature Trail

The Hillview Nature Trail is a 2.9 mile loop hike located in Northwest San Antonio within Eisenhower Park. This trail is extremely heavily trafficked.

This is a very family friendly park. There is a playground at the entrance of the trail and an educational area. The park is known for its attraction of wildlife and nature. The trails are mostly shaded, but there are several rocky uphill sections (hiking boots are recommended). However, there are also sections that are paved. These sections are great for those that are handicap. There are several benches located along the trail as well.

Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash and picked up after! There are several poop bag stations, where bags and trash cans are available. There are bathrooms located at the trailhead, next to the parking lot. The parking lot is large and parking spaces are plentiful.
