About this place

Added by Erin Newman-Mitchell

A beautiful nature-filled trail with stunning views.

The Restoration Way Trail Loop is a 5.1 mile loop hike located in Northwest San Antonio within  Friedrich Park. The trail is definitely one of the more challenging trails in the park.

Portions of the trail are paved, however this particular loop is not recommended for those that have mobility limitations because of the more strenuous inclines. This trail is primarily shaded and during the spring time features an abundance of wildflowers. It's a great trail for exercising and hiking. And is very well maintained.

There are bathrooms located at the trailhead, near the parking lot. Parking is plentiful but because of how popular the park is it can fill up quickly. However parallel street parking is available outside of the parking lot. Dogs are NOT allowed.
