Access Road: To reach the trailhead, travelers must navigate 6.4 miles along the unimproved Glenn Springs and Pine Canyon Roads. A high-clearance vehicle is required for this route.

Trailhead Parking: Limited parking is available near the gate at the end of Pine Canyon Road.

Pet Policy:

Pets: Dogs are not allowed on the Pine Canyon Trail.

Trail Highlights:

Terrain: The trail begins with a steady climb through open desert and sotol grassland for 1.5 miles, showcasing fascinating volcanic geology. The final half-mile ascends steeply through an oak/pine woodland to the base of a 100-foot cliff.
