"The Mindfield" is the life work of Brownsville, Tennessee artist Billy Tripp which tells his life story. It is the largest outdoor sculptor in Tennessee.
Driving through Brownsville, TN you might miss "The Mindfield" if you aren't paying attention. It's situated behind a barber shop and a motel.
We pulled into the parking lot next to the Food Giant grocery store. You can walk around the structure but you are not allowed to walk through or under the beams.
The structure stands over 125ft tall and there are several references in the structure to events in Billy's life.
It doesn't take long to view the structure. There aren't tours and it doesn't cost any money. There is also a Mindfield-themed restaurant next to the artist's structure if you're hungry.
