Photograph and Swim at Elrod Falls

Elrod Falls is a great place to cool off in a cool clear river stream. It is located near a very small town in East Tennessee and is a great secluded place if you want to get away from people. When you get to the area you will see signs for it on the side of the road. When you get to the field and the parking lot it is only about a 1000 feet walk from there straight up the river. The path is well taken care of and preserved so anyone can make the walk. When you get to the edge of the falls there are a few good places to put your bags or have a picnic on the rocks. The water there is pretty good to swim in and cooling. There are no signs but you will need to stay off of the waterfall.
