Explore this impressive gorge and waterfall on this family friendly adventure. There are plenty of options for connecting hikes in the area. Be sure to keep an eye out for the Thermalquellensteg (Thermal Springs Walkway).
Start at "Obere Maressen" and follow the walkway through the forest. You'll find detailled informations at a clearing just before the gorge.
The bridges leading through the gorge are safe to use, but that doesn't mean you won't need to be careful. Make use of the numerous viewing platforms and benches if you want to rest.
The walkway leads through the gorges and crosses the Dala river twice. You'll find a few small thermal springs in the gorge, look out for rusty spots (due to iron-rich water) in the rocks below!
There's quite an impressive (and loud) waterfall near the end of the walk.
