About this place

Beautiful viewsNice trailsEasy parkingFree shelter and bothy useSwimming lakeDifferent routes for different skill levels. The anti-draw:- Many people in high season (spring + summer - especially weekends)

Depending on your skill and fitness level you can either walk in the valley which have a nice trail or you can go up the stairs on your right hand from the parking lot and get up and enjoy the view - it is worth the 200 steps. There are trails connecting most of the rather small national park so grab a map at the house at the parking lot. The area is small. The largest roundtrip can be done in a day or split into a few short hikes between the bothies where there also is a tent area. The Skåne Leden trail goes through the national park so you can link up to that and extend your hike quite a bit. There are water pumps, fire place and fire wood at the bothies.
