Introducing Our Custom DIY Sprinter Van

We turned this old cargo van into our own adventure mobile!

My husband and I spent three months building out our dream adventure mobile. We turned an old plumbing work van into an epic 80 square-foot home on wheels for us and our two pups.

The van started out as an empty cargo van, typical white and beat up from years of use. With about 194,000 miles on the diesel motor, it needed some TLC - and a paint job!

Once stripped and thoroughly cleaned, we began outfitting the van for our lifestyle. Insulation, walls, cabinetry, a kitchenette, and bed - the works. But the real deal is in the back: our adventure station. Under the bed hides two mountain bikes, two iSUPs, a plethora of backpacking gear and climbing gear, and tools galore. This van is ready for any adventure!
