About this place

Added by Alyssa Lewis

Next to the ocean and in the heart of Charleston, South Carolina lies this hidden beauty. The White Point Garden was established in the Civil War era and remains a must-see gem of the area.

As soon as you walk into the park you are immediately surrounded by the absolute beauty of the area. The twisting and intertwining trees provide the right amount of shade and a beautiful backdrop for taking pictures. The gravel paths throughout the park allow runners and cyclists to navigate through the park without any issue. The grassy areas allow families to sit and enjoy a picnic. Throughout the park you will also find statues dedicated to important people during the Civil War. This park is enriched with history and beauty and is a must-see when in Charleston.
