Kayak on Lake Murray

Lake Murray is a beautiful lake to dip your feet into. The boat park allows access to everyone with any boat. There is a concrete, standard boat ramp that allows larger boats to be put in the water. There is also a small, wooden boat ramp used just for kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. During the spring and summer diving certification classes are offered here. This lake is very large and easily maneuverable. You can spend hours on the lake just paddling. There is a $3 fee to park and use these facilities, however. Or you can purchase a season pass for $45. A picnic areas with charcoal grills are near the docks so your family can enjoy a picnic lunch after being out on the water all day. There are also indoor bathrooms and several fishing spots. This park is definitely a must visit if you love being near the water.
