About this place

Added by Seth Berry

A hidden gem in Oconee County, Brasstown Falls is a 3-in-1 waterfall great for photography and cooling off during the summer.

These waterfalls are absolutely beautiful during the summer greenery and fall foliage, but open to access year around.

Driving Directions: From Westminister, follow US 76 West for 11.8 miles and turn left onto Brasstown Road. Follow this road 4.1 miles to FS 751. (The pavement ends in 2.6 miles.) Turn right onto FS 751 before a small bridge over Brasstown Creek and drive 0.5 miles to a parking area where boulders block the road.

The Trail: Follow the trail for 75 feet past the boulders at the parking area and pass under a power line. Follow the trail another 250 feet to a primitive camping area located to the left of the trail. The trail veers to the right past the camping area, then follow it another 200 feet along the Brasstown Creek to the first section - Brasstown Cascades (50 ft. waterfall). Follow the trail another 200 feet down the steep terrain to the second section - Brasstown Veil (35 ft. waterfall). Finally, continue down the steep terrain over rocks and roots for 100 feet to the final section - Brasstown Sluice (35 ft. waterfall).
