Billy Goat Hill offers up great views of San Francisco, isn't too crowded, and arguably most important, has a swing!
Billy Goat Hill Park is located in the Glen Park neighborhood of San Francisco. The park has street parking at the top of the park on Beacon Street or at the base of the park on Ladley Street. Getting to the swing is only a short walk up or down the stairs that run through the middle of the park.
Bring your camera or phone and get a great shot or two of you and your friends on the swing. If the seat is missing or it looks a little to treacherous for you, there's plenty of hillside to relax and take in the views of Bernal, the Mission, the Dogpatch, and downtown. Added plus, stop off at La Corneta and grab a burrito to enjoy with the view.
Just as a heads up, the swing isn't always there. The best guess for telling if the swing is up is to check the recent posts for the Instagram tag.
