About this place

Added by Outbound

The hike from Kirk Creek Campground to Vicente Flat Trail, in Limekiln State Park, is a 10.2 mile trail. The trail features beautiful ocean views and vistas of the Big Sur coast.

The Vicente Flat Trail is well kept and wide, with many campsites at the end. This trail is very close to Cone Peak, and is used for mountain biking, trail running, birding, and nature trips.

The turnaround point for this out-and-back trail is once you reach the junction with Vicente Flat Trial Camp and Stone Ridge Trail. From here, simply head back the way you came.

CAMPING:

There are two trail camps along the route: Espinosa Camp and Vicente Flat Camp. These two campgrounds are first come first served. For updates and more details on these two campgrounds visit FS.USDA.GOV.

Kirk Creek Campground reservations can be made on Recreation.Gov.
