This amazing hike summits Mother Miguel Mountain via the Rock House Trail - a perfect length for hikers, trail runners, and mountain bikers.
At the summit, your work will be rewarded with stunning views from downtown San Diego all the way to Mexico. You can also see the surrounding mountain peaks and the Sweetwater Reservoir.
This is a great hike to do at sunset - but bring a headlamp / flashlight for the hike back down. This trail is easily accessible from the greater LA and San Diego areas, and the trail allows dogs. There is no shade on the trail, so bring sun protection and lots of extra water. The trail has loose rock in some areas, so wear sturdy hiking boots or trail running shoes.

Easy hike. Did it with my 6 and 4 yr old boys. Nuce breeze the entire way. Great view from the top.
