Walk to North Lighthouse

In order to reach the Lighthouse you must walk along the trail that begins at the end of Corn Neck Rd. This walk is along the beach and then veers off to the left once you get closer to the light house (the seventh picture shows the start of the walk). It's only a half mile to the light house, but you will be walking over a rocky sandy beach, so having sturdy shoes is important. There are a lot of seagulls in the area and you can see the young ones that have just hatched in late spring/early summer. Just past the lighthouse is a short trail down to the beach that was almost completely empty on a weekend, so it's the perfect place to escape the more crowded beaches near town.
