A town on Portugal's Algarve Coast, Lagos offers many opportunities for exploring the surrounding land or sea. Kayaking is a great way to find hidden beaches and see the numerous sea caves in the area.
Lagos is located in Southern Portugal, and is easy to reach via bus or train from Lisbon or other major cities in Portugal and Spain. The nearest airport is in Faro, Portugal, about 75 km away. Lagos is a small, easily walk-able city. Kayak rentals and tours are available in many different locations, although are not as available during the off-season (roughly November until April), although kayaking then is still possible.

Kayaking in Lagos
It was a very cool and worth the money. Only downside was how busy the coast line was with other tours
