Go to Mt. Washington for a beautiful view of Downtown Pittsburgh
Photograph the Pittsburgh skyline from Mt. Washington! It's a spot now famous for wedding photo backdrops, family portraits, etc. so you may have to wait a little while to get one of the overlooks to yourself.
It's generally easy to park along the street (metered) and then you only have to walk directly across the street to reach the sidewalk that has overlook points.
There are several important points of interest on Mt. Washington, including the Duquesne Incline, a 19th century cable car that descends the mountain with great views of the city which you can ride in with a purchased ticket. St. Mary of the Mount Church is also a very beautiful church in the area that can be seen from many different points in the city.
Address for the overlooks: 136-160 Grandview Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15211
