Dry Run Falls in the Loyalsock State Forest

One of the most accessible waterfalls in all of Pennsylvania, Dry Run Falls is right along Dry Run Road in the Loyalsock State Forest. You can see the falls from the road and a short walk from the parking area will bring you down to a great vantage point for photos.

You can also walk to the top of the falls and explore the little cascades just  upstream. There are a few picnic tables if you want to enjoy your lunch next to the falls.

Dry Run Road is a dirt road, though well maintained and accessible by any type of vehicle. The road is often closed for some of the winter when it becomes snow covered. 

The falls is easy to access and I often stop here for a quick photo or two when I'm in the Loyalsock hiking.
