About this place

A fairly level hike, good for some exercise and a stroll along the Ridley Creek.

The white trail is the only true loop hike in the park. Strangely enough, it has no official trailhead. You can gain access to the trail from either Pavilion/picnic are #9 or Pavilion/picnic area #16. I chose picnic area #9 and hiked in a clockwise direction. This section starts very close to and follows Ridley Creek. You do have access to Ridley Creek for a short distance where there is a side trail along the bank of the river.

The trail is easy to follow and I would consider this a beginner hike. The trail is about 5 miles in length with less than 450 feet of elevation gain. It's a nice trail through the forest however, there are no view points other than when you approach Ridley Creek and along the social riverbank trail. Great for some exercise but not for view points.  I imagine this would be an excellent trail during the fall to see the autumn colors of the trees.
