Get a real feel for the city of Pittsburgh on bike!
A 24-mile path for biking, running, and walking with the best views of Pittsburgh. The path is non-linear as Pittsburgh comes to a point at Three Point Park, where three rivers intersect, and you can ride on all three sides of the land via this trail. Riding along the north side will give you great views of downtown and the city's famous yellow bridges as you ride next to Heinz Field (Steelers) and PNC Park (Pirates). If you want to experience all of the segments of the trail, use the bridges to cross the rivers - there will be signs for pedestrian and bike paths that will lead you to across. See the Three Rivers Heritage Trail map for full details and information regarding access points.
The best place to begin your journey on the northern segment of the trail is at Millvale Riverfront Park, just west of the 40th Street Bridge. This paved segment of trail curves southwest and then northwest through Pittsburgh's North Side neighborhoods.
