This is a great scramble down the hill-side to a gorgeous, unexplored waterfall that few people have been to.
At the parking lot for Angel's Rest, turn left uphill on to Palmer Mill Road. Drive for about a mile, and park right past a tributary stream/small waterfall (pictured above) on your left that flows through a small pipe under the road. You will see a small space to park on the right. Park here and you will see a faint trail beaten down only by foot. Start walking down the trail, and it will gradually get more difficult. You will want to keep walking and climbing down towards the creek. This short climb down will take a bit of time due to the slippery footing. Be careful where you step, or you may end up sliding down the hillside. Once you reach the creek, walk upstream, and you will see the falls! Hike back out the same way you came in. This is not a good hike for children or dogs.
