Located just north of Depoe Bay, this state scenic viewpoint is a great stop for not only taking in the landscape but also is a prime location for whale watching during the migratory season and other marine wildlife. If you bring your binoculars, this is also a good location for birdwatching with a diverse array of seabirds flying by.

History
The site is home to some maritime heritage, with remnants of the SS J. Marhoffer shipwreck visible during low tide. You can check the tides here.
