urner Falls

Turner Falls is situated in the Arbuckle Mountains of Oklahoma and at 77-feet tall is the largest waterfall in the state. During the warmer months it offers a perfect escape to swim, relax, and cool off. It's a short walk along the banks of Honey Creek to the falls, and you can find a picnic area to the left of the creek.

This is such a beautiful area - it's hard to believe that it's located in Oklahoma. It's the perfect place for a day trip if you're in Dallas, Oklahoma City, or surrounding areas. If you're traveling from a further distance there are first come-first served campsites available to spend the night. If you've been trying to find a local swimming hole, look no further and check it out!

From May 1 to September 30 there is an entrance fee of $12 for adults and $6 for children. From October 1 to April 30 the entrance fee is $4.

Getting there: If you're traveling north on I-35 take exit 47, and if you're traveling south take exit 51. Both exits will lead you to Highway 77 where you will find a beautiful scenic overlook to the south and the main entrance to the north. Once you enter the park through the main entrance, follow the paved road over a water crossing, then look for signs for the Turner Falls parking lot.
