Relax at Natural Falls

Natural Falls is located within Natural Falls State Park in the scenic Ozark Highlands near the Oklahoma/Arkansas border. The drive to Natural Falls will offer beautiful rolling hills and dense forests lining the highway, and the falls cascade into a V-shaped valley and create a serene atmosphere hidden among the rocks and trees.

Once you reach the Natural Falls State Park entrance it's an incredibly short drive to the parking lot for the Dripping Springs trailhead. From the parking lot it's another quarter of a mile until you reach the railed off overlook. From here you can see a spectacular bird's eye view of the falls.

From the overlook there will be signs to the right that direct you to either the bottom of the falls or to the lake. If you follow the sign to the bottom of the falls you will follow slightly steep downward path until you reach a bridge to cross over to the platform at the bottom of the falls.

It's important to note that Natural Falls is composed of several waterfalls, and depending on drought and recent rain the amount of water flow will be affected. It's best to visit the falls after a big rain storm! Another important factor is what day of the week you visit them on. It can get pretty busy on the weekend, so if you're looking for a more relaxed experience I suggest going during the week.
