Rock Creek Trail

Cedarock Park is a 500-acre park named for the abundance of cedar trees and rock outcroppings. The park features a network of hiking and equestrian trails, disc golf and footgolf courses, primitive camping, a fishing pond, canoe and kayak rentals, basketball and volleyball courts, picnic shelters, and facility rentals. 

Each trail is color-coded and marked with trail blazes every tenth of a mile. Curtis Mill Trail (purple blazes) is a half-mile paved ADA-accessible trail to the waterfall over the old mill dam. It connects to the 1.75-mile Rock Creek Trail (yellow blazes) that loops through the forest and by the waterfall on both sides of the dam. 

There are also six miles of equestrian trails (orange blazes). If you're looking for another great hike, the 1.3 miles Spoon Branch Trail (blue blazes) is the first trail you encounter when you enter the park and it traverses alongside the goat and sheep pastures of the historical farm and into a mature open woodland. The white blazes are a connector trail that links the Spoon Branch Trail and Rock Creek Trail. 

Also available are two top-ranked 18-hole disc golf courses, with a third soon to open. There is also an 18-hole footgolf course. Discs, course maps, and scorecards are available in the park office. 

Six primitive campsites are available. The fee is $10 per night with a limit of three nights. The sites are near bathrooms (no showers) and water fountains.
