Easy going hike to the summit of Mount Eden in Auckland, New Zealand, that isn't short on views!
This brief hike up to the summit is perfect for any evening of your choice, providing an amazing 360 degree views, and of the downtown core. For those a little short on time or energy, you can also drive to and park at the summit to enjoy the sunset.
Starting at the Mt Eden parking area, you work your way up the path surrounded by beautiful greenery. Some areas of the road can get fairly steep, but overall this walk is quite enjoyable. Once you reach the summit, you can enjoy all around views of the wonderful landscape of Auckland.
In just over 20 minutes, you can experience Auckland's tallest volcano, at 196m and experience views like never before!
