Split Rock Falls

The the easiest and the fastest access of any New York waterfalls Split Rock Falls, is within 10 feet of the parking lot and as soon as you open the car door you hear the water gushing down the Boquet River. The clear, cold waters of Split Rock Falls cascade through groves of hemlock and spruce, lope down natural steps of granite and slate, the falls are separate drops with the upper two separated from the third drop by a large pool. The falls are very deceptive and dangerous waters so whenever thinking cliff jumping please be careful. very lovely place to kick back and relaxing and absolutely gorgeous for taking long exposure pictures on your way out or in into the high peaks.
