Short and sweet hike with a beautiful view of the lake. This location is awesome at sunset, especially in the Fall.
Its a great place to explore as it has a beautiful calm lake especially in the fall, the reflection of the water and the awesome colors are unbelievable. Its a short hike but you certainly could go further up.
Parking is free by the road, hike towards the lake about a mile or so. The sound of birds above you as you take this hike its pretty impeccable.
In the middle of the lake there is an area where you could take a moment and bask in the beauty of both sides of the lake, the views are completely different as when the sun hits one side the other side is more colorful, and you should definitely take some snacks and just enjoy the sunset.
