There are 135 acres of beautiful forest surrounding the Wolf Creek complete with multiple swimming holes and historic stone foundations along an abandoned railroad. There are plenty of well maintained and clearly marked trails to travel, and benches to stop and enjoy the wilderness along the way as well.
Over 3 miles of trails provide access to all parts of the preserve, and end up winding through mixed terrain including a wetland, waterfalls, and old stone walls. The property crosses the Bozenkill Road at two points on either side of private parcels (with beautiful homes), so be vigilant there; people drive pretty fast on country roads. The waterfalls are small but cascade down 2 slopes and into multiple swimming holes for perfect summer relaxing. This preserve is pet friendly and dogs are welcome. Historic ruins are fun to explore along the old rail road at the very north of the preserve as well.
