This is a hike a very scenic hike leading to some historic sites located in a nice canyon.
This is a very scenic moderate 3,5 mile hike featuring beautiful views, rare plants and the ruins of the historic Dripping springs resort. Lots of wildflowers in the summer. In the winter you may encounter some snow and ice at the end of the trail. The trail is rather busy on week-ends but not so much during the week. There are several good trails living from the visitor center area. Dogs are allowed on part of the trail but not on the resort area.
