Hike Mt. Pierce

Mount Pierce (elevation 4312 ft.) is part of the Presidential Region in the White Mountain National Forest.  Upon reaching the summit, you will be rewarded with 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains. 

To begin your hike, park at the Crawford Connector Trailhead. You will follow the Crawford Connector for 0.4 miles to Crawford Path. Just before reaching Crawford Path you will cross a footbridge over cascades on Gibbs Brook. After crossing the bridge you will follow the signs/trail left to continue on the Crawford Path Trail. Shortly after this, you will come to a side path that leads to Gibbs Falls--definitely worth the stop. It is only about 40 yards off the trail.  After 1.5 miles on the Crawford Path you will reach the junction with the Mizpah Cut-Off Trail, which leads to the Mizpah Spring Hut. Keep left to continue the 1.2 miles to the summit of Mount Pierce. 

The trail itself is relatively rocky the whole way up. Be sure to bring layers as it may be colder and windy at the summit.
