Gorgeous camp site - your choice of either regulated campgrounds with designated sites, or you can continue past the campground and backpack to dispersed sites further around the lake.
Wade Lake Campground is a gorgeous campground, situated right on the crystal clear blue waters of Wade Lake. It has a handful of maintained sites, as well as a vault toilet. You can easily car camp here, though you may want to be careful on the road in if you're hauling a camper.
The beauty of this campground though, is that if you continue to hike past it, you're in backpacking and dispersed camping territory. There are a number of sites, right along the lake, depending on how far you feel like hiking. There are already a number of fire rings and clear spots where others have camped (please use a pre-existing site! Let's keep this place alive and well!)
A gorgeous place to enjoy the peace and quiet that Montana offers, enjoy a fire with friends, and fish if you've got the equipment! Be sure to bring you camera, because this lake does not disappoint.
