Cenote Tamcach-Ha, along with Cenote Choo-Ha and Cenote Multun-Ha, is in the jungle less than a 10-minute drive from Coba Archaeological Site. Cenote Tamcach-Ha is the nicest of the three, consisting of a round pool area with no natural daylight entering the cavern.
The spiral staircase descending to the water has two jumping platforms, about 5 meters and 10 meters above the water. The water is blue and clear enough to snorkel in.
There is a lifeguard on duty, and life jacket rentals are available outside the cenote entrance. Admission for each of these three cenotes can be paid at the booth at the entrance to the dirt road. Cenote Tamcach-Ha is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is MX$100. Children 10 and under are free.
