Added by Danielle Tourigny

Easy, historic urban trail shows you some of the highlights of downtown Boston.

Park along the trail and then hop on. The Freedom Trail allows you to not only see the most beautiful parts of Boston (which is an absolutely gorgeous city) but you can learn some history too! Head off the trail a bit to explore the Charles River, the waterfront near the aquarium and picturesque Beacon Hill. If you have a nice day and want an easy way to see the best parts of Boston, this is definitely the way to do it!

Sites of the Freedom Trail Include:

You can park at: Boston Common Parking Garage: 0 Charles Street, Boston, MA 02116 OR Faneuil Hall F75 State Street Garage: 5 Broad Street, Boston, MA 02109 OR Charlestown Navy Yard and Bunker Hill Monument Parking Garage; 88 Constitution Road, Charlestown, MA.

Fun tour of history
Spent an enjoyable day on the trail. Not sure there is a better way to get an overview of Boston.

A Must Do
It's pretty touristy, but as a Massachusetts native I highly recommend walking this if not just for the experience.
